IPSWICH GRAMMAR SCHOOL – STEM BUILDING
MNCE were engaged to undertake the structural and civil design for the new Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Building at Ipswich Grammar School. This impressive building houses numerous laboratories, lecture theatre, presentation space, learning studios, and break-out spaces over three storeys.
This impressive building sits in a prominent position adjacent to heritage listed buildings. The striking large architectural steel screens needed to be integrated into the structural design as a key feature of the building.
The building opened early 2021 and provides state of the art facilities for students and teachers.
