JACARANDA STREET - RECONFIGURATION OF LOT
Milanovic Neale Consulting Engineers (MNCE) provided civil engineering services for the redevelopment of 111 Jacaranda Street and 10 Cook Street, North Booval. The project reconfigured two lots into ten mixed use allotments, a dedicated parkland including new internal roads, sewer and water main reticulation and stormwater mitigation measures. It also supported a community-use child care centre and a medical precinct commencing 2025.
MNCE’s role included detailed civil design documentation, roadworks, stormwater drainage, and infrastructure layouts per the Ipswich Planning Scheme. Key elements were internal road networks, footpaths, water mains, sewer mains and infrastructure integration. MNCE was also tasked with stormwater management, ensuring no net increase in peak runoff.
MNCE extended their services into the construction phase, providing inspection and certification to ensure compliance with design and local standards. They prepared RPEQ design certifications and post-construction documentation, ensuring seamless transitions from design to approval. The result is a well-integrated urban precinct balancing housing, services, and public space, supported by MNCE’s expertise.
